About This Course
This course is designed for supervisors at NTNU, both main supervisors and co-supervisors, with the aim of giving you useful information about the supervisor role and the rules and regulations governing the doctoral education at NTNU. You should complete this course before you start supervising your first PhD-candidate. The course covers the steps from starting with a new PhD-candidate to a successfully defended thesis and encourages you to reflect on who you want to be as a supervisor. The course is updated when changing regulations and practices require.
